Event ends → outcome becomes final → redeem eligible shares → check available balance. Withdrawal is a separate next step.
1. Read the selected market's complete rules
Open Rules and settlement and check the outcome criteria, named source, date, timezone, thresholds and edge cases. The title is a summary; two similarly titled markets can have different rules.
For BTC and other Up or Down markets, verify the observation window, reference price, final-price method and treatment of a tie. Trading above the reference at one point does not establish the final outcome.
2. The event ending is not final settlement
After the event ends, the named source must provide a verifiable result and an approved resolver must submit the official outcome under the rules. The current system records final outcomes through DRO. User reports can inform the process but do not settle the market by themselves.
Claims may remain unavailable while a result is pending, being reviewed or subject to an edge case. Check the actual market status rather than assuming a zero countdown makes funds claimable.
3. Claim after the result is final
Under standard binary settlement, winning shares redeem for $1 each and losing shares for $0. Canceled, unknown or other nonstandard outcomes follow the market's applicable rules and final state.
Find eligible positions in Portfolio or use the Claim action shown on a resolved market. Review the selected markets and quantities, sign when prompted, wait for confirmation and check the available balance.
4. Delays and questions about the outcome
Check the complete rules, named source and current market status. A delayed event, source correction or unclear result may require further verification. The individual market's rules govern how it is handled.
Contact official support with the market link, relevant times, rule evidence and error message. Include the transaction hash if a claim fails. Resolution-report bonds and rewards are separate from redemption of your market positions.
